082 4445199 surf consultants: golla 0825554244 jarvi 0823764443 All Aboard Travel is South Africa’s specialist surf travel company, offering clients tried and trusted destinations, whether it be a surf charter, family holiday, a honeymoon or a hardcore surf trip. The "All Aboard Surf Travel Company" was formed by Gideon and Chantal Malherbe in 2004. They were fresh from the Mentawais, where Gideon skippered the fabled Indies Explorer from 1998 until 2004, doing 6 solid seasons and more than 70 Mentawai charters. Yes, you read right. More than 70 charters.
Apart from these charters there was also plenty time to explore, including 8 trips down the south coast of Sumatra and Panaitan, 5 explorations of Simelue, the Banyaks and North Sumatra, an exploration of the South Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, and a circumnavigation of Sumba. We are the true Indo experts. We know all the boats, all the captains and all the spots. In 2007 Lorrin Jarvis joined Allaboard with her husband Craig Jarvis (Jarvi). Lorrin has 12 years of travel industry experience behind her, and Craig is a surf journalist and former editor of Zigzag Surf mag. Craig was one of the first South Africans to surf the entire coast of Chile and lived as a feral in the village of Katiet (Lance's Rights), before Lance even arrived. Check out "Captain Gideon and Jarvi's surf blog + classic stories to see where these two have been. Gideon, Chantal and their 2 sons, Josh and Indie have just come back from a 2 year surf mission on their catamaran Shimmi. They crossed the Pacific, completing more than 16000 nautical miles and visiting spots such as Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Tahiti's Teahupoo, Fiji's Lau group and New Caledonia. Needless to say we have some FRESH destinations to share with you! At All Aboard we will help you find what you are looking for. Whether it is a hardcore lonewolf mission to Fiji's Lau Islands, a group trip to the Mentawais or a family holiday to a 5 star resort with a smoking right hander, we will get you there at the right time and and at the right price. Not only do we do "hardcore" (see our hardcore destinations), but now that both the Malherbe's and Jarvis's have started families, we realize that there are plenty of surf families looking for a destination which will make everyone happy. And why should a honeymoon have no waves? Another big coup for All Aboard is our recent affiliation to Suretravel, the biggest retailer of airline tickets in South Africa. This has many advantages, the biggest one being cheap tickets!!!! Call or email us, let us know what kind of destination you are after, and we will help you find it.
